Using photography and musical compositions, Aeron takes his viewer and listener on a journey through his imagination. The online photo gallery that Aeron displays is impressive to say the least. The use of color, close ups, and subjects to invoke various emotional responses is overwhelming.
Aeron’s medium of choice is digital photography, which is a unique medium. It is very different from film photography, where the picture can be easily manipulated with the proper software, imagination, and a computer. The results lie not in the medium, but in the eye and imagination of Aeron. The mixture of crisp close ups to nature, mixed with bright hues not normally found in the natural world make a striking picture, worthy of the most discerning collector’s wall.
In addition to nature photos, Aeron creates abstracts using objects found in our everyday lives, centers his creations on various flowers, animals, and people, without resorting to the typical portrait format. This gives the viewer a unique peek into the life of the subject, without feeling as if the photo was posed or false in any way.
Digital photography has come a long way since its introduction. Starting out with grainy, less than snap shot quality pictures, it is now becoming its own art form. Advances in pixel compression and software to manipulate digital photos make this art a skill like no other before it. It is a mix of creativity, art, and technology, taking photography into the 21st century.
